A single mother of two/ Photographer at 606 Chicago and Viben Records/ Creator and founder of CheezyPics.

Lesa Cheez has made her name in the Chicago Hip Hop Community. Born and Raised in Humboldt Park, in Chicago, Lesa Cheez never had the intentions of being a Photographer. She herself calls this, “The best accident she could have ever gotten herself into.”

Raising two teenage boys, Cheez found herself looking for ways to make ends meet. With no High School Diploma or college degree, Cheez made her way in the world of photography. Creating images that captivate the artist and their music.

Cheez is best know for her photography, for 606 Chicago, the longest running Live Hip Hop Open Mic, held EVERY Tuesday , for 19 years at Subterranean. Hosted By Simone “Shadow Master Mc” Norfleet and Anyiahlation, and always on the one’s and two’s Tony “Dj Boy Wonder” Rayos. 606 Chicago gave Cheez, and many Artist, the platform to perform , grow and mold themselves, to become nothing but... DOPE.

Lesa Cheez has become a front supporter, like many, for Chicago's Underground hip hop music and artist. She has grown into a great photographer. She Loves Capturing, the artist in their natural state, on the only place they be free... the Stage.

Cheez has worked with Chicago Artist such as, DNA Beatz, Shadow Master Mc, Anyiahlation and The Microphone Misfits.

This is only the beginning for "The Rookie".
